Hope you are all enjoying the Easter break!
Just to update you on a few dates for your diary :-
FRIDAY 14th MAY – Presentation Evening.
As at writing, event to be held at Pride Park in the Toyota suite start 7.15pm
Admission adults £3 children £2 (please order in advance from your reps)
THURSDAY 20th MAY – Football Festival at Pride Park stadium. Again like last year, we have the opportunity for all our teams to experience playing at Pride Park. The social committee are currently organising the event so we would all appreciate your support.
WEBSITE – This year we have experienced difficulties with our website. We have invested more this year on the site than ever before, but have found that that alone doesn't necessary mean success. Recently Brett Burnton has volunteered as the new web master and I would ask all at DCLFC to be patient as he helps put together a website we can all be proud of.
TRIALS – I would like to explain some truth behind rumour going around our club and also the C of E. Raf, Simon Carnell and Pete Johnson regularly meet on issues regarding girls football within Derbyshire and Derby County in general, and are discussing this years trials. When news of trials is available we will let all players concerned know immediately.
TEAM PHOTOS – The team photos which were taken at Pride Park will be on display at training on Tuesday 13th April for anyone to order. The prices being -
7 x 5 £2.50
8x 6 £3.50
10 x 8 £5.00
Family pack 7 x 5 and 10 x 8 £6.50
Please find enclosed with this letter this years Presentation Evening raffle tickets. All at DCLFC realise the financial constraints of all, but ask for as much support and co operation that you have always given.
Regards Martin
